Silent Crit
- Like the potential instagram layout with the grid.
- Unsure on what the arrows point to, are they purely random?
- Could use random objects on the street to guide people so they'd follow a trail, more like a treasure hunt to get them to notice their surroundings more. This could be used as a way to also promote independent cafés or shops that people might not know about.
- Really like the interactive elements.
- Think about who's engaging with the signs, people rushing to work in the mornings might not want to use the signs.
- Rationale is quite confusing
- Form over function - develop easier to read.
- Explore more interesting shapes.
- Series of signs to make it clear.
- Why the colour scheme?
- Experiment with the type so it's legible
- Could make motion graphic and link the physical sign to using QR code. Has built in QR maker - snapchat
- More established imagery
- Look at Paula Scher beach signs.
- Mock up sign isn't well developed - would be better as a sculpture.
- Give a bit more clue into what the different routes would benefit e.g scenic or enjoyment like abstract words to give hints.
- The treatment could be approached like your fruit labels on your 7" project (Pat said this.)
