WHY
- Snöar Press would be useful to me as I'm interesting in publications and they publish many books and zines that I engage with and some that I've bought however I don't want to be a publisher so they are probably not the best to look into.
- Rosie Lee Wilson - I bought her book from Snöar Press and I'm very interested in her approach to publications and design in general. She's very focused on using different print methods such as screenprinting and riso and her work is often playful even when dealing with serious topics which I like as I want to have fun with my work.
- Timothy Luke - he's worked with musicians and brands that I would like to work with as well so it would be interesting to see how he managed to reach these people.
- Leah Maldonado - her design values and approach to type design is something I'm very interested in. I like type design and being analytical in my work which is her focus. She also expands her work into other disciplines and I want to be a multi-disciplinary designer, so investigating how she's done this professionally would be effective.
- Rohan Chaurasie - this is also another multi-disciplinary artist who has a more playful, analytical and experimental approach to design which is what I value.
- Studio Darius Ou - their work is really broad and interesting to me - each project is unique and I would professionally want to be multi-disciplinary and work on different projects.
- Jon Lucas - his web design is really interesting to me however I'm not looking to be a web designer solely
- Sangah Shin - I like her multi faceted approach to design, she indulges in fine art as well. Her work is based on her visual research which is something I enjoy doing.
- &Walsh - their portfolio is quite broad but very type-based, maybe not perfect for me as I want to focus on multi-disciplinary aspects.
- Studio Fisk - I'm inspired and interested in all the work they do and they work/collaborate with large names and artists I would want to as well.
- Superkolor Studio - Risograph printing is my favourite printing method and they push the limits of general risograph design and create really interesting work.
